Connect Card

There are a couple of ways for you to start getting acquainted with who we  are and what we're about:

Who We Are, Our Team, and Our Values.

You can also learn about the different ways to connect with others through our Community Ministries like Small Groups, and Sunday School; or through our Adult Care Ministries like Divorce Care and Grief Share.

If you have children then make sure to check out our:

Children's Ministry , Preteen Ministry, and Youth Ministry!

Sunday  Worship  Gatherings

In a world that is different as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, some now choose to worship and learn from home, while others are physically present here on our actual church campus. In the midst of this reality, we affirm our belief in the importance and value of coming together - when possible - as a part of the one body of Christ. We offer both traditional and contemporary worship experiences, and while the worship style might differ between the services, we seek to praise and honor God with the same heart!

There are a couple ways for you to join us for a worship gathering. You can join us  live on the website or you can plan a visit to our campus in Chapin!

  • Celebrating Pastor Paul's Ministry Among us

With both sadness and joy we have shared with you the upcoming retirement (December 31st) of our Minister of Congregational Care, Paul Allen. For the past 18+ years, he has served faithfully in a very important role. Please join us for a church-wide celebration on Sunday, December 4, from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM in the Church Fellowship Hall.

  • Christmas Cantata

The Christmas Cantata is Sunday December 18th at both the 9am and 11:15am services. There will be no 9am service in the Fusion Center. We hope you'll join us for this special time of worship to celebrate the Christmas season!

  • Advent reading guide

As we approach Christmas we observe the season of Advent - a time of waiting, anticipation, and reflection on the birth of Christ. A great way to enjoy the season together is with our Chapin UMC Advent Reading Guide. We still have some guides available in the lobby so grab yours this week! There is a devotion and reflection for each day of Advent starting November 27 and culminating on Christmas Day

How Can We Pray For You

We know that times can be tough and sometimes we can feel alone in this. It doesn't have to be that way. Our prayer ministry is here for you. If you're facing a challenging moment or would just like to share some praise about something God has been doing in your life, then take a few minutes and fill out the praise and prayer form.  Thanks!

Every Wednesday morning at 6:00 am, we have a "prayer call" and we would love for you to join in and spend some precious moments together with God in prayer. (These prayer calls last no more than 30 minutes.)

Call: 1-301-715-8592 and use meeting id 894 3157 2823

Every Friday morning at 6:00 am, we host a prayer call when we pray for weekend services, the salvation of the lost, the sanctification of the saints, and revival in the Church-at-large. You can pray out loud or pray silently, and these prayer times last about 30 minutes.
