If you're checking out what Chapin United Methodist Church is all about then you're in the right place!
Chapin UMC exists to help you connect with the saving love of Jesus, grow in full devotion to Him, and share His love with the world! We would love to reach out and connect with you, so please fill out the connection card below and we'll be in touch!
There are a couple of ways for you to start getting acquainted with who we are and what we're about:
You can also learn about the different ways to connect with others through our Community Ministries like Small Groups, and Sunday School; or through our Adult Care Ministries like Divorce Care and Grief Share.
In the midst of CoVid-19 our worship gatherings might look a little different. While some of us might be worshiping and learning from home and others in our actual Chapin UMC Campus, we believe in the importance and value of coming together as one body in Christ! We offer both traditional and contemporary worship experiences. While the worship style might differ between the services we praise and honor God with the same heart!
While things might look and feel different the ministry of Chapin UMC has never stopped! Our ministries are constantly doing what we can to continue to equip, disciple, and love the people of God and the people in Chapin! We would love for you to join us!
We are excited that Christmas Eve services will be onsite again! Contemporary Worship will be at 3pm, 5pm and Traditional Worship will be at 7:30pm. We will offer childcare for ages 2 and under at the 3pm service only (Register children HERE). In order to plan appropriately for this amazing day we ask everyone who plans on attending Christmas Eve Services onsite to please REGISTER HERE. We look forward to seeing everyone on December 24th!
Are you ready to take the next steps here at Chapin UMC? Then Foundations is for YOU! Foundations is our membership information class held several times a year. Here you will learn about the foundation of our church – our Mission, Vision and values of Chapin UMC. You will hear about our different ministry areas and how you can partner with us in our mission to connect people with the saving love of Jesus, grow in full devotion to Him, and share His love with each other and the world.
We hold the Foundations Class 6 times a year. If you are interested in attending the next Foundations class, please click HERE to register online.
The 2021 WARM Project (Weatherization and Repair Ministry) will be held on Tuesday, December 28th and Wednesday, December 29th. This short-term mission project involves work varying from minor jobs (demo, cleaning, painting, etc.) to major jobs (roof replacement, steps, ramps, kitchen/bathroom rebuilding, etc.) for homes in the Chapin area. There is something for any skill/experience level. Middle School and High School students are invited to participate. Children under 14 are welcome when accompanied by a parent.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day, with breakfast starting at 7 AM in the Fellowship Building at CUMC, followed by a quick update from Team Leaders before heading out to work.
We look forward to serving with you as we become HIS hands and feet.

We know that times can be tough and sometimes we can feel alone in this. It doesn't have to be that way. Our prayer ministry is here for you. If you're facing a challenging moment or would just like to share some praise about something God has been doing in your life then take a few minutes and fill out the praise and prayer form.
You can also join us in praying for members of our congregation who are facing challenging times themselves. On the weekly prayer card you'll find the name of those who have asked for prayer. Please know that we have permission to share these individuals names and would love for you to join us in prayer.
