Missions

Our mission is to help people locally and globally CONNECT with the saving love of Jesus Christ; lead them to GROW in relationship with Him; then send people out to SHARE that very same good news with others.

Chapin UMC is committed to reaching out to the lost and hurting both at home and abroad by forming partnerships with churches and organizations that are planting churches, equipping leaders, assisting the poor, caring for the sick and educating future generations.

Global Impact Celebration

We are only 7 weeks away from our annual Global Impact Celebration (GIC)!  Every year, we set aside one weekend in the fall to celebrate with and encourage all of our missions ministry partners throughout the world.  This year, our GIC begins on Friday, September 27th, and runs through September 29th.  There will be displays in the Fellowship Hall describing each of the special ministries that we support as a church – we will have great worship on Friday night – a fun filled Question and Answer time with our missionaries on Saturday – and conclude on Sunday morning with more worship and the opportunity to send our precious ministry partners off with much prayer and encouragement.  Please save the dates – September 27th -29th; mark them on your calendar get ready for an inspiring, faith filled weekend!
