GLOBAL OUTREACH
Chapin UMC‘s mission to CONNECT the unconnected to Jesus Christ, GROW in full devotion to Him, and SHARE both the Gospel and of our abundance with the world is fully supported by our GLOBAL OUTREACH plan. God’s and CUMC’s desire is to have every member in mission, which is clearly stated in scripture: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV).
Our Global Outreach Plan is implemented by four Acts 1:8 Teams (“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” NIV), and overseen by our Global Outreach (GO) Lead Team. The work of the Acts 1:8 teams is supported by four Special Teams. Your part in this plan can be as a “goer” or a “sender”. Find your role by contacting missions@chapinumc.com.
