The Chapin UMC is growing! We are now accepting resume’s for anyone interested in applying for our newest position – Assistant Treasurer. This is a 15 hour per week, flexible schedule position that will be responsible for providing financial support in an accounts payable role. This person will assist the Treasurer in tracking and paying bills, maintain church ledgers, and assist in the production of all required financial reports. In addition, this position will also run payroll and keep all staff benefits up to date.

The person filling this position must have a demonstrated ability and experience with Quickbooks. They must have good time management and organization skills. Must pass a background check and if not a member of CUMC, be willing to become a member within 30 days of hiring. Compensation is $17.00 per hour and benefits include medical reimbursement account and paid time off/vacation.
